- Accountability at all levels: Every department head must be - and will be - held accountable for his/her actions as well as that of
his/her subordinates
- Accessibility: As your Mayor, I will be available to you and our business partners.
- Sustained renewal: I will work to renew the entire Jennings area; not just segments. However, those areas that are in
progress will be assisted in our continuing efforts of improvement. I am not afraid to stand up, speak up and show up for what is
fair. I believe that all people should be treated with dignity and respect.
- Some of my accomplishments are:
For
the last four years, I have successfully sponsored the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration in Jennings. It
is the first public celebration in the Jennings area.
- Hosted a meet-and-greet gathering for St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley (at my home)
- Honored by Hardee's as The 2000 Home Town Hero for my outstanding efforts in public safety.
- Received a public service award from Social Security Administration for outstanding service as
the Chief of Police for Moline Acres, MO
- As Chief of Police in Pine Lawn and Moline Acres, I revised and implemented a policy and procedure handbook. As
commander of the Jennings Federal Jail, I created a policy and procedure handbook for this facility
- On October 10, 2006, as Mayor Pro-Tem, I spoke welcoming Schnucks to the city of Jennings.
- Highly recognized and commended by the U.S. Marshal's Office for the operation of the Federal Jail during a
five-year time span
- Extensive training in management (all levels), municipal government,
internal affairs, NFPA Safety
